Mandy’s Columbia River Gorge headshots are some of my favorites! From the second I met Mandy a few years ago, I knew we would be great friends. Not only do we have photography in common, but Mandy is so much fun to be around and she is the sweetest most encouraging and talented person! You might recognize Mandy from when her husband Chris proposed to her at Afton Mountain Vineyards on our weekend trip to the mountains in Charlottesville, VA. Since then, even though we have lived thousands of miles apart (hoping we will both end up back in VA again someday), we try to get together as much as possible.

I was lucky enough to have her come visit me while Justin is deployed for 5 weeks. It can get pretty lonely in a new town with just Dozer & Axel to keep me company. Of course, while she was here, as photographers do, we swapped head shots. This was the first time I was able to shoot in my new location and it was amazing! I just wish we had more daylight to capture all of the beauty around us.

Currently, Mandy is located in Nevada, shooting Reno and Lake Tahoe weddings, but later this year she and Chris are moving to San Diego, so if you’re in the market for a photographer in those areas definitely look her up – Mandy Ford Photography!
