Another one of my beautiful cousins is in the spotlight on the blog! I can’t even believe Emily is going to be a senior at Grassfield High School this fall!! Out of 9 grandchildren on my mom’s side of the family, she will be the 6th to graduate from high school and it seems like graduations are coming faster and faster with each one of them! It is crazy how much Emily has grown up over the past couple of years. She is growing into such a gorgeous woman and I am so excited for her to experience the next season of her life.

We decided on Pleasure House Point in Virginia Beach for Emily’s senior pictures and it was the perfect backdrop for her session. Even though it was very humid because of thunderstorms that had passed through earlier in the day, it was totally worth braving the bugs and sweat to get these pictures that capture this special time in her life. Emily has played the violin since 5th grade, so including it in her pictures was a definite and they are some of my favorites that we took!

Emily will be taking classes at TCC during her senior year of high school and will apply to the early admission program for high school seniors with the Sentara College of Health Sciences to complete her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. I’m sure she will make an awesome nurse like her fellow redhead, Aunt Jane!

I want to give a shout out and huge thank you to Brianna (Emily’s sister) who was my hair fixer and assistant for the evening 🙂 Here are some of my favorites from her senior session!
